The more you practice creating positive energy, the more you will notice increasing benefits.

Whatever happens, never lose heart. Whoever says to himself, ’I will succeed’ will reach his goal. But if you think ‘It’s impossible, I don’t have all my faculties, I will never manage.’ then you will fail. As the Tibetan saying goes, ‘One cannot shake off poverty by losing courage.’ - The Dalai Lama

Frequently asked questions

Catherine Ralphs is a registered nurse with a passion to bring complementary energy healing therapies into the health care system.

Nursing has been Catherine’s lifework. For the past twenty years she has worked at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, as a critical care nurse and most recently in the Post-Anesthetic Recovery Unit. A natural leader, she is often assigned to be the nurse-in-charge.

She discovered energy healing work eight years ago, driven by the pain of chronic migraines that were brought on by the day-to-day stress of full-time work. When conventional medicine was unable to help her, she turned to complementary energy healing therapies and was astonished to find that her migraines were significantly reduced and that her outlook on life had transformed.

The healing that she experienced led her to extensive studies at Langara College, from where she graduated from the Holistic Health Practitioner program (2002) and Integrative Energy Healing program (2005).

While she was a student of the Integrative Energy Healing program, (see www.langara.bc.ca/cs) Catherine participated in a world service project offering Integrative Energy Healing to Tibetan nuns and monks in Dharamsala India. She has also worked with clients of Domestic Violence in Vancouver. Since graduating, she has participated as a practitioner in a study researching Integrative Energy Healing.

Catherine believes that complementary therapies need to be welcomed into the current health care system and she is an articulate advocate for their inclusion. Catherine is a member of the Canadian Holistic Nurses Association and serves on the alumni’s steering committee for the Integrative Energy Healing Program.

"Catherine’s experience as a recovery room nurse combined with her training as an energy holistic practitioner makes her particularly attuned to what patients need after surgery. I went from being very uncomfortable to feeling remarkably well. My nurse could not believe how relaxed and comfortable I was that first night."—Reidun
